In 1987, two hundred of the 1,857 world famous celebrities stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame required overhauling or complete replacement due to intrusive ficus tree roots, years of earthquake, pedestrian and automobile traffic. Immediately, Original Stardust Enterprises obtained the rights to collect the unique terrazzo remains from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and began this exclusive collection.

During the 1990's several hundred of the landmark stars were removed by the MTA - Metropolitan Transportation Authority during the construction of the subway through Hollywood. After the stars were reinstalled further construction caused the famous boulevard to sink as much as 10 inches. Many of the damaged stars were replaced and added to our master collection. Ricky Martin received the 2351st HWF star on October 16, 2007.

All products include a certificate of authenticity signed by the Honorary Mayor of Hollywood
Mr. Johnny Grant. The Autograph Series also includes a second certificate signed by the
celebrity stating that they hand signed
their featured 8 x 10 photograph.
